(Courage to Cure the Economy)
A political party founded in 1982 by Yigael Hurvitz, an industrialist who had served under Likud as minister of industry, commerce, and tourism and, later, as minister of finance. The party's primary position was that drastic measures were needed to deal with Israel's substantial economic problems. The party won one Knesset seat in the 1984 election, and Hurvitz joined the Government of National Unity as minister without portfolio in 1984.
